After purchasing tickets online, you can confirm and make changes to the ticket type from the "My Reservation" page. There are two types of online tickets.
1. Mobile Ticket (Recommended): Show the ticket on your smartphone screen when boarding.
After completing your reservation and payment, click the"Send Mobile Ticket"button.
A link to your mobile ticket will be sent to your registered email.
If needed, you can log into the"My Reservation"page and click"Send Mobile Ticket"again to resend the ticket.
2. Web Ticket: Print out the ticket and show it to the bus staff or driver when boarding.
After purchasing a ticket online, click the"Display/Print Web Ticket"button.
This will open the ticket for you to print.
If needed, you can log into the"My Reservation"page and click "Display/Print Web Ticket"button again to resend the ticket.
There is no bus service to Kamikochi from November 16 until April 16, and we do not provide tours to Kamikochi.
About the bus to Kamikochi
The nearest bus stop to Kamikochi in winter is the K-26 Nakanoyu bus stop. To reach Nakanoyu bus stop, you can board theMatsumoto - Takayama bus. An advance reservation is required. Please check the fares from thetimetable page.
From Nakanoyu bus stop, you will need to walk or use snowshoes, approximately 1 hour (3 km) to Taisho Pond and about 2 hours (7 km) to Kappa Bridge. The time required may be significantly longer depending on the snow conditions and weather.
For those who plan to enter Kamikochi during this period
Please be aware that winter mountain climbing/snowshoeing is undertaken at your own risk. Kamikochi experiences rapidly changing winter weather conditions, with potential dangers such as avalanches, falling rocks, and ground blizzards.
