Starting mid-July, delight in our unique on-site brewery, MATSUMOTO GAKU BREWING, located right beneath the hotel. Inspired by Matsumoto’s reputation as a city of mountains (岳 – Gaku), music (楽 – Gaku), and academia (学 – Gaku), we proudly craft three unique beers, each embodying one of these themes:

  • Gakuto WEIZEN: A traditional German Weizen with a fruity banana-like aroma balanced with a mild bitterness.
  • Gakuto LAGER: A familiar lager style in Japan with a crisp, refreshing finish and a well-balanced bitterness, fermented over two months.
  • Gakuto IPA: An India Pale Ale that sparked the craft beer trend, featuring a bold hop aroma balanced with citrus notes.
